After suffering a couple of setbacks (COVID-19, then lead actor Robert Pattinson testing positive), The Batman has resumed production. Recent set photos of the superhero reboot show the Caped Crusader riding a motorcycle on the streets of Chicago, which served as the backdrop of the Dark Knight trilogy aka Gotham City.
According to Chicago-based writer and photographer Joshua Mellin, the team of director Matt Reeves shot the sequences along Wells Street Bridge.
It’s worth noting that a stuntman and not Pattinson is burning rubber alongside Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz), and the bike used for filming is more of a cafe racer than the custom Harley-Davidson Batcycle photographed earlier this year.
