Dingdong Dantes dropped by the Dunkin’ Donuts biker’s drive-through lane along Visayas Avenue, Quezon City, over the weekend.
The actor-slash-motorcycle enthusiast only had good words for the store’s new feature. He wrote on Instagram: “The experience was great—quick and efficient, and the servers were as always courteous. I really admire how @dunkin_ph has took on this type of service in order to reach more Dunkin lovers despite the limitations we have now.
“Gotta go, have to try the new twisties—not the twisties for my Ecooter—but Dunkin’s new product.”
Dantes, who recently shared his motorcycle group’s watch collaboration called the Creux Ghost EuroMonkeys Edition, brought his electric scooter for the donut run. He is usually seen with his BMW R1250 GS, which he uses for his delivery-service app Dingdong PH.
Dunkin’ Donuts Philippines, for its part, confirmed the opening of its “first drive-through or maybe even the first anywhere with a special designated biker’s lane” through all of its social media accounts. Many food establishments have adjusted to the new normal amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company posted photos of motorcycle and bicycle riders trying the service. It even provided a Waze link to point interested customers directly to the biker’s drive-through lane.
Dunkin’ Philippines also reposted Dantes’ experience:
