It’s not everyday that you see a critically acclaimed actress cruising down the highway on her big bike.
On Instagram, Eula Valdes recently shared photos of her riding her 2020 Honda CB650R on the freeway. She wrote: “Super init! Mahirap mag-maintain ng bango, today you may call me Hulas Valdes.”
The Honda CB650R—powered by a 649cc DOHC liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine—has a 15.5-liter fuel tank, a four-into-one- exhaust system, and Honda Selectable Torque Control System, among other features. Its Neo Sports Cafe design is a mix of sportbike meeting sporting naked, which is highlighted by its nanopigment paint and trapezoidal body layout.
Going back to Valdes, the 52-year-old also recognized the hard work of couriers in a separate post, saying: “Bilib ako sa mga delivery riders natin na whole day nasa kalsada, wow! I-mention ko lang sa init na na-experience ko kahapon, na nakihingi ako ng water sa Sucat toll gate nung kumukuha ako ng RFID, maraming salamat po.
“Hindi biro (ang) trabaho ninyo! Pwede kang mag-pass out sa tindi ng init ng araw! Ingat po tayo at magbaon ng tubig!”
In a previous upload, Valdes received positive comments from some of her showbiz peers:
Yayo Aguila: “Ayan tayo eh!”
Zsa Zsa Padilla: “Music is life and so is your ride.”
Princess Punzalan: “Astig!”
The Pangako Sa ’Yo thespian is the newest addition to the growing number of female celebrities who have gotten into riding. Earlier this month, Yassi Pressman vlogged about her motocross session at Mx Messiah Fairgrounds Academy, where Sarah Lahbati also trains. Meanwhile, Moonstar88 vocalist Maysh Baay’s facility of choice is Mel Aquino’s Yamaha Off-Road Training Camp. Other celebrity lady riders include Ella Cruz and Melanie Marquez.
Ride safe, Amor Powers!
