Apparently, Chiu has her own record of the riding experience, which she just recently shared on her YouTube channel. The motovlog has garnered more than 480,000 views as of writing.
The actress said in her video intro: “Medyo nakakalalaki talaga yung pagmo-motor. Like pawis, init, walang makeup kasi may helmet, may faceshield! But I did all of that, for the love of Xian. I trust Xian. Medyo kinakabahan ako. Sumasakay naman ako ng motor dati sa Cebu, pero iba kasi ngayon eh. Takot ako!”
Lim fetched Chiu, then the celebrity couple took a half-an-hour ride to his house that prompted her to exclaim, “As an anemic girl, it is very hot. The weather is so scorching hot. See? 33 degrees, but feels like 40 degrees.”
After she changed to a bigger helmet, KimXi met up with riding coach Sam Tamayo for breakfast. They got back on the road, but eventually had to walk and backride to their destination because Lim needs more off-road training. Upon their arrival, though, Chiu was left in awe of the landscape.
“Super nice! Worth it pala yung pagpunta natin dito, hinusgahan ko agad... Di namin pinlano to, breakfast lang talaga kami sa Boso-Boso. Pero this view... Para kaming nasa Canada, we’re in Banff. Kaka-motor lang namin,” she remarked.
On their way home, the pair was even caught in the rain. Tired but satisfied, Chiu thanked her boyfriend for the adventure. Still, she was too exhausted to give her review in that moment, so they decided to debrief via video call. The next part of the video saw the two being candid and sweet.
Lim said, “At least ngayon alam ko na na hindi ka dalhin sa tirik na araw, parang mga 12 o clock, 1pm, kasi sobrang tirik nga naman, ang init nung helmet natin.”
