Who says you need a car to get to the local fairway for a couple rounds of golf? ‘Kuya’ Kim Atienza just proved that withproper technique, enough skill, and careful riding, you, too, can carry a whole golf bag while riding a motorcycle.
A large, European adventure bike seems like a fitting choice for a tito rider headed to the green. The model that Atienza rode, specifically, is very much capable of golf club-hauling duties and more.
A 1198cc Testastretta V-twin engine with Desmodromic Valve Timing powers the red and white machine. Maximum output is in the ballpark of 160hp at 9,500rpm, while 136 Nm of torque can be found at 7,500rpm. With this much power on tap, the Multistrada will have no problem lugging Kuya Kim, his golf balls, clubs, and additional gear to and from the course.
To conserve forearm strength for Atienza’s swings, the Multistrada comes with a light action slipper clutch. A height-adjustable seat means that he can wear golf shoes on the bike without worrying about not being able to reach the ground. Fully adjustable Ohlins suspension also absorbs road bumps before they rattle the rider’s clubs too much.
Think you can match this motorcycling tito’s vibes? Just remember to ride within your ability and try not to carry anything too wild or large on the back of your bike.
