Add LA Tenorio to the list of PBA players-slash-motorcycle enthusiasts who have taken up vlogging. The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel point guard recently uploaded on YouTube a video about his custom ‘Gin Kings’/‘Iron Man’ BMW R nineT.
He starts off the motovlog by saying: “Meron akong sorpresa sa inyo. Kakaiba itong pupuntahan natin. Marami sa inyo ang hindi nakakaalam na ito ginagawa ko. Excited ako na makita at ipakita rin sa inyo kung ano yung pupuntahan at kukunin natin ngayon.”
Tenorio then headed to Vespa Pasig and Premium Tri-Star Auto Sales along C. Raymundo Ave., where he met up with owner Chris Trajano, who is also the head of Club9t motorcycle club, and Any Time All the Time president Jevis Aguila.
Trajano explained the customization process to former national team member: “All paint siya, walang sticker. So, minatte natin tong aluminum sides. Ito kulay ng Iron Man...together with the name. Tsaka nakita mo yung mga lines, kung gano kapulido.”
Aguila, whom you may remember from some of the PBA Moto Club rides, talked about how the concept came about: “Iniwan sakin ni pareng LA yung motor niya bago mag-bubble. Sabi ko mag-champion lang siya, mag-MVP siya pipinturahan natin.”
“Kakatingin ko tuwing umaga nakikita ko, nakaisip ako ng kulay na maganda,” he said, referring to the red and yellow scheme. “Nasaktuhan ko rin na Ginebra team, Iron Man pa ang MVP natin mga kabarangay.”
Tenorio also revealed that he’s now a member of Club9t, following in the footsteps of fellow players JC Intal, James Yap, and Paul Artadi. According to Trajano, six-time PBA champion Tenorio was his first Vespa customer.
