Looking for a reliable, consistent, and convenient meal pitstop on your next ride? Don’t cross fast food restaurants like Mcdonald’s off of your list of choices just yet. As some members of Tropang Top Bikes have proven, it’s possible to roll up to the Mcdo drive-thru window on a motorcycle, order and claim your meal, and eat it in the parking lot. With this, you can practice social distancing while you and your riding group talk about your bikes while you eat.
Most of Mcdo’s menu items are easy to eat while hanging out in a parking lot, such as long-time favorites like the Burger McDo, the Big Mac, fries, sundaes, and more. The newest and possibly most-anticipated addition to the menu this year is the BTS meal. Dropping locally this June 18, this package inspired by the South Korean boyband sensation is composed of a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, a medium Coca-Cola, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces.
While the official release of this meal is still a couple of days away, over 2,000 medical frontliners have been treated to their first taste. This was done as part of McDonald’s Philippine’s initiative to thank these heroes for their hard work and sacrifices.
Even if you aren’t an ARMY, this meal item is worth a try on your next ride, if not for the tried-and-tested combo of nuggets, fries, and a drink, then for the exclusive limited-edition packaging and tempting sauces.
