It has been a while since Ryan ‘Ninong Ry’ Reyes released motorcycle-related content on his YouTube channel. On Sunday, the celebrity chef shared the recent makeover of his iconic yellow Vespa scooter.

Kasi nagkaron to ng problema nung bagyong Ulysses na nagkatumbahan yung mga motor, he said in his latest motovlog. Meron kaming, actually, ikakabit na mga accessories, pero sabi nga nung (kakilala) ko na ipa-repaint na muna bago natin ikabit talaga.

Painthub Autobody and Paint operations manager Bryan dela Cruz told Reyes, “Papagwapuhin natin. Mas gwapo pa sayo, para maraming ninang na makakasakay dito.

Dela Cruz also gave a tour of their facilitys oven,” where the paint jobs are done.

The video then cuts to Ninong Rys house, where the Constant Racing team will be installing his new Mitas tires, and Akrapovic exhaust, as well as yellow Ohlins shocks, golden Marus mags and fan cover to match his ride.

While the crew was working on his Vespa, Reyes prepared a buffet—hence the vlog’s title—of sweet and sour pork, stir fried chicken and vegetables, pancit canton, and yang chow fried rice.

Upon seeing his scoot, Ninong Ry couldn’t help but swear in awe: “G*go, napakaganda.”

He then tried out his revamped ride—fitted with two leather bags that he had made when he traveled to Tanay, Rizal—with the new helmet and riding gear that he bought from Casco Market.

The video ends with Reyes telling his brother and camera operator Ian (whom he gave a Vespa for Christmas) before speeding off: “Siyempre, ite-testing agad natin to, maglo-long ride agad tayo... (Sa’n ka ba pupunta?) Sa Bohol, pare.

We can’t wait for Ninong Ry’s next vlog, especially that Bohol motovlog.
