Filipino riders will now be able to cop premium motorcycle apparel from Belgium-based manufacturer Richa.
Local distributor Motoworld recently announced that it has included Richa to its roster of riding gear brands. The latter’s wide range of products—jackets, gloves, pants, footwear, accessories, and protective gear—is available in MotoMarket and MotoStyle outlets and through the Motoworld Online Shop.
Here’s what to expect from Richa riding gear lineup:
Toulon 2 Softshell Mesh jacket
Airbender jacket and pants
Rain Flare and Force D30 jackets
Airstorm WP, Infinity 2 Mesh, and Airbender jackets
Desert 2, Basalt 2, Stunt Lady, and Orlando gloves
Airvent Evo 2 and Softshell Mesh WP trousers; Throne and Nora jeans
Richa started making motorcycle leather gloves when it was founded by Charles Rigaux in 1952. The Belgian company eventually expanded its product range to leather motorcycle clothing, motorcycle jackets, pants, boots, and accessories—all featuring advanced protectors.
Richa had teamed up with design firm D30, which develops impact protection tech for workweak used in sports, electronics, motorcycles, defense, and industrial. Richa gloves also received Gore-Tex certification in 2011, with the company getting a Gore-Tex license for its motorcycle clothing four years later.
According to the release: “Guided by the motto ‘Feel safe, feel good,’ motorcycle apparel brand Richa ensures each product adheres to global safety standards without compromising comfort. This way, the rider’s concentration is unhampered, and he is able to become one with his motorcycle and his environment. Only then can one truly experience the ultimate sense of freedom that motorcycling brings.”
