In an Instagram video, the actor explained how he found himself in that situation: “Mataas ang biyahe, totoo ang sinasabi nila sa balita. Kasi ako nilusong ko, akala ko parang yung news eh umaga tapos humupa na yung baha. Guys, hindi pa.”
He also showed footage of what he had to go through, saying, “Ako yan, na stressed na stressed at hindi alam kung anong gagawin, ha ha!”
It was his first time riding his Ducati Multistrada 1260 through a flood, and he admitted that he was really worried.
Lim shared: “Yung tubig, it’s a bit murky. Talagang hindi mo nakikita yung kung ano man yung nandun sa flood. Baka may bato, or anything that can cause the motorcycle to tip over, so medyo delikado. Baka may butas, biglang bumagsak... Pero, wala eh, gusto ko na talagang makauwi nang panahong yun.”
At one point during the trip, his bike’s engine stalled, but eventually started after a bit of revving—to his relief. Lim also gave credit to those who assisted him in getting through the flooded parts of the road.
“Along the way, I met a lot of people na super helpful and they’re willing to guide me na makaalis dun sa kung saan man ako, kung na-stuck man ako sa baha. People were willing to push, eh nakakatuwa lang yung ganung mentality nating mga Pilipino,” he said.
