In her latest YouTube vlog, the actress-dancer shared her recent motocross session under the tutelage of Land Transportation OFfice-accredited instructor Sam Tamayo and guest riding coach, director Bobet Vidanes—who is apparently a master trail rider—in the former’s Taytay facility.
Pressman even had to borrow another instructor’s Honda CRF150L because she’s a brand ambassador for the said manufacturer.
At one point in the video, she said: “For me, the difficulty is that I’m used to braking on my left. Kaya kapag ngayon, parang mas kailangan kong isipin na, okay, brake on your right with the left on the clutch...
“One good tip that I learned is that you can grip the bike pala with your legs. Really trying to study how to ride the bike, so, now I’m really taking some classes.”
Tamayo describe Pressman and her crew, who were also taught how to ride together, as a “super energetic group.” As for the Filipina-British celebrity, he said: “She’s been riding a scooter for a year sa village before she enrolled prior ECQ. Her prior learning with the scooter gave her an advantage (when it came to) the manual bike. The CRF150 she used is kind of strong because it has aftermarket parts.”
The riding coach added, “Last Sunday, May 1, we reopened. Yan (si) Yassi. Nakatayo na siya sa footpeg and was able to roll over the track.”
