The new Suzuki Gixxer FI that features Euro-inspired styling and some key equipment upgrades is now officially available on the local market.

For 2020, this backbone motorcycle has become even sexier than before, with sleek front and side body panels as well as flowing lines that extend to the tail end. The silver trim on its headlight, side covers, rear set, and exhaust shield provide a premium touch without taking away from the bike’s sporty appeal.

The luminous red pinstripes on the black 17-inch alloy wheels further strengthen the Gixxer’s athletic stance. The impressive fit and finish of this motorcycle, too, isn’t good news for other competitors in its segment.

Powered by a capable and fuel-efficient 155cc SOHC, 2-valve, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that produces 13.9hp and 14Nm, the Gixxer FI is a beginner-friendly bike that is convenient and easy to ride even in urban traffic. Its easy-to-maintain powerplant uses the Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology, resulting in improved fuel efficiency and emissions.

The Gixxer’s suspension, meanwhile, comprises a telescopic fork up front and a single shock absorber mounted on a sturdy swingarm in the rear. The new well-padded split seat will pamper both the rider and passenger on long rides. The stylish rear tire hugger also helps distinguish the new Gixxer from the outgoing model. As for other improvements, the 2020 model’s equipment upgrades include the new fully-digital instrument panel, and LEDs for the head- and taillights.

Suzuki Philippines’ latest motorcycle offering is available in three new classy color combinations: Red, Silver, and Black. It is priced at P93,900, which is P2,000 up on the previous model.
