The beloved scoot now comes in Candy Jazzy Blue, Sports Red, and Vibrant Orange color schemes. Form meets function in the Dio’s LED headlight and position light for night riding, informative meter panel, and secure key shutter with seat opener.
This model runs on a 109cc SOHC air-cooled, four-stroke engine that pumps out 7.89hp at 7,500rpm and torque of 8.91Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. More importantly, Honda claims it can achieve 58.3km/L when traveling at aconstant speed.
The Dio is also fitted with a 14.4-liter capacity U-Box, front and retractable rear hooks for extra luggage, not to mention a wider dual seat and step floor. Its steel rims and 10-inch tubeless tires come with a front and rear mechanical drum brake system.
This model has a curb weight of 104kg, a 5.3-liter fuel tank, a 765mm seat height, and 158mm of ground clearance.
“As the latest addition to our motorcycle offerings, The all-new Dio is our way of helping everyone face today’s everyday challenges. People will surely love it because, with this multi-purpose scooter, they can always seize the day,” Honda Philippines president Susumu Mitsuishi said.
The all-new 2021 Honda Dio will be available at Honda dealerships nationwide starting this month with a price tag of P49,900.
