The Austrian motorcycle brand indeed lives up to its company motto, “Ready to Race.” Team Orange is so serious about winning that not even the littlest member in its lineup of racing machines will be left behind eating dust during competitions.
This is probably why KTM finally came up with the Factory Edition of its 2021 KTM 50 SX model. The KTM’s Factory Edition models are results of years of research, developing and producing racing machines with premium components.
This class-leading model was presented during opening ceremonies of the AMA National Champions at the Loretta Lynn Ranch in the US, the perfect backdrop to introduce KTM’s latest race-focused machine.
Included in the long list of high performance parts of the KTM 50 SX Factory Edition are the class-leading WP suspension system, FMF exhaust, CNC-machined aluminum ignition and clutch covers, and a set of dependable Dunlop Geomax MX 53 knobbies.
Designed for the wildest off-road conditions, the Geomax MX 53 rubbers feature the innovative Block-In-A-Block technology for enhanced grip on loose soil and muddy road conditions.
To add more speed, the KTM engineers also did some tweaks to its two-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 49cc engine and jetting. And to make sure other competitors in the Junior class will wet their pants, they wrapped this tiny 50 SX with Factory Edition graphics which we all see on the bigger, meaner KTM race bikes.
The 2021 KTM 50 SX Factory Edition will be available in the international market by October this year.
So if you have kids aged between 4-10 years old and you’re thinking of letting them join prestigious motocross events and wanting them to win as well, this could be the weapon of choice. Just make sure you have deep pockets.
