If you’ve kept your eye on the motorcycle industry and its recent happenings, chances are that you’ve spotted spy shots and leaks of Moto Guzzi’s V100 Mandello. This adventure/sports tourer has been making the rounds online with its combination of contemporary components and Moto Guzzi heritage styling cues. This has led to many wondering when the Italian manufacturer would finally do an official reveal.
Now, the proverbial cover has been broken, and the V-twin powered bike unique’s appearance is on full display. Moto Guzzi released a short preview to officially introduce its 100th anniversary special motorcycle. The video is filled with enough eagle cries and drone footage to make the brand’s logo proud. Still in line with the avian theme, Moto Guzzi has also enlisted the help of an actual eagle to round out the video.
In the preview, we get several clear shots of the V100 Mandello, complete with electronically-adjustable windscreen and fairing flaps, TFT dash, transverse V-twin motor, Brembo brakes, and single-sided swingarm, among others.
Based on the model name, it will likely be powered by a 1,000cc V-twin engine. The V85TT adventure touring bike that came before it follows a similar naming scheme with its 850cc power plant.
More details and specifications are yet to come, with Moto Guzzi teasing fans with the phrase, “See you at EICMA on November 23rd for the official presentation.”
