The much-awaited Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has arrived in the Philippines. Royal Enfield Pilipinas, the brand’s local distributo, will officially unveil the new cruiser online on Friday, March 19. Expected to deliver their remarks at the launch event are Vimal Sumbly, head of Royal Enfield Asia Pacific, and Mark Wells, head of Product Strategy & Industrial Design.
This entry-level cruiser is powered by a 350cc SOHC, single-cylinder that produces 20.1hp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The fuel tank capacity of the Meteor 350 is 15 liters, while the factory-claimed mileage is 41.8km/L. Its fuel-injected mill is mated to a five-speed transmission.
All three variants—Fireball, Stellar, and Super Nova—roll on a pair of alloy wheels (19in up front and 17in at the rear) fitted with tubeless tires. Stopping power comes from the front and rear discs, both equipped with ABS.
The suspension system is made up of 41mm telescopic forks and twin-tube emulsion shock absorbers with a six-step adjustable preload. The taillight is LED, while the headlight uses a traditional incandescent bulb. The offical prices are as follows:
