The new and improved version of Triumph Motorcycles’ most successful custom classic, the Street Twin, combines the brand’s classic styling with modern componentry and performance. So named for its street-focused mill, the 2021 Street twin features the latest generation 900cc, SOHC, 270-degree crank parallel-twin engine with 64hp and 79.9Nm of torque.

Standout features include a five-speed gearbox with a torque assist clutch, ride-by-wire throttle with adjustable traction control, two riding modes, a Brembo brake caliper up front and a Nissin unit in the rear, ABS at both ends of the bike, an LED taillight, a classic-looking analog speedometer with a multifunction LCD screen, an immobilizer built into the key, and an accessible 30.1-inch seat height.

Perhaps one of the more interesting updates for the 2021 Street Twin is the addition of the limited-edition Gold Line variant. This is special-edition version of the classic naked featuring unique premium detailing and a hand-finished black and gold paint scheme.

Much like other limited-edition Triumphs, the Street Twin Gold Line is meticulously painted by Triumph’s team of expert craftsmen. The sophisticated paint scheme is called Matte Sapphire Black, and is complemented by a heritage logo on the fuel tank, brushed knee pads, a graphite center stripe, and hand-painted gold lining. Also worth noting are the custom side panels, which continue the Matte Sapphire Black and gold design and feature integrated mesh details, more gold lining, and a custom Street Twin logo with gold lettering. Of course, the wheels on the Gold Line edition also feature gold lining, with the detailing encircling the new 10-spoke cast wheels.
