Check out this Jack Daniel’s edition Indian Challenger Dark Horse

That’s a pretty bike, but don’t drink and ride

Few things scream ‘Americana’ as much as whiskey and big-bore V-twin cruisers. So it just made sense when Indian Motorcycles teamed up with Jack Daniel’s for a series of limited-edition bikes celebrating good old American craftsmanship.

This partnership has been ongoing for the past six years, and each year a custom bike rolls out of Klock Werks Kustom Cycles. The custom shop has also been part of the collaboration for five years now, and has chosen a different Jack Daniel’s whiskey variety to be the build theme.

For 2022, the inspirational drink of choice is Tennessee Rye Whiskey. This particular whiskey has a white label with gold and green accents, which is reflected in the custom 2022 Challenger Dark Horse.

From the fairing, tank, fender, and even the side luggage, every paintable surface of the Challenger has been done up in Rye Metallic paint with bits of gold and green—turning the Tennessee Rye Whiskey bottle’s appearance into motorcycle form.

Of course, you can’t have a Jack Daniel’s edition item without the whiskey maker’s name on it. The branding is tasteful, and shows up as seat stitching and a fancy plaque nestled between the engine’s two cylinders.

Speaking of the mill, the Challenger Dark Horse’s V-twin motor displaces a hefty 1,768cc, and puts down a respectable 122hp and an asphalt-tearing 173Nm of torque. This big engine is complemented by capable componentry: 43mm inverted fork, hydraulically adjustable rear shock, dual disc front and single disc rear brakes from Brembo, an assist clutch, ABS, and Indian’s Smart Lean Technology.

It comes with a full gamut of touring features, too. Through the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, the rider can access navigation, Bluetooth pairing, Apple Carplay, speaker controls, and more. The 18-liter locking hard saddlebags store your stuff; the fairings have adjustable air flow; the windshield is power adjustable; and a 12V charging port keeps your phone powered up.
