In keeping up with the increasing number of motorbikes in the country, Gulf Oil Philippines (GOP) unleashed its new engine oil designed for scooters that comprise more than half of the total population of two-wheelers here.
The Gulf Pride Scooter Oil 10W-40 was unveiled online recently with the Metro Manila-based motorcycle media in attendance. “With the NCR (National Capital Region) and most of the provinces transitioning to a more relaxed version of the quarantine, we expect our riders who rely on scooters for their daily commute to finally avail of Gulf Scooter Oil, and experience the product’s superior benefits,” says Jaykumar Chandrashekaran, GOP’s general manager.
He described the Gulf Pride Scooter 10W-40 as a high-performance four-stroke engine lubricant specifically designed for modern scooter engines equipped with a ‘twist-and-go’ automatic gearbox and dry clutch. Blended with special additives and premium base oils, this new oil protects the engine from high friction to reduce wear and tear of the inner components.
According to Chandrashekaran, the Gulf Pride Scooter 10W-40 is the engine oil being used by the big names in the scooter industry which include Honda, Piaggio, Suzuki, and Yamaha. This new engine oil has a unique, easy-to-open packaging for the convenience of the riders. “Just pull and pour, insta-pour and insta-zoom,” Chandrashekaran added.
The Gulf Pride Scooter Oil is now being aggressively promoted by Hardcore Brothers Technologies, Inc. led by Jimmy Barinaga not only in Metro Manila areas, but in Cebu and the rest of the Visayas region where scooters thrive in numbers because of the worsening traffic situation. It is priced at P215 for an 800ml bottle.
