Harley-Davidson recently held the exclusive launch event for its first adventure touring motorcycle—the 2021 Pan America 1250.
The Pan America’s liquid-cooled V-twin engine, called the Revolution Max 1250, is actually a structural component of the chassis, resulting in a lighter bike minus the traditional frame and tight handling. The powertrain can deliver 150hp at 9,000 rpm and 127.4Nm of torque at 6,750rpm.
Built for long on-and off-road trips, the model is equipped with satin black cast-aluminum wheels and Michelin Scorcher Adventure tires. The front fork and rear shocks come with compression, rebound, and hydraulic spring preload adjustability.
The Pan America has five pre-programmed ride modes—Sport, Road, Rain, Off-Road, and Off-Road Plus. There is also a customization option where the rider can combine power delivery, engine braking, Cornering Enhanced Antilock Braking System (C-ABS) and Cornering Enhanced Traction Control System (C-TCS) settings.
Part of the production team for the adventure tourer’s global reveal video is actor and brand ambassador Jason Momoa.

From the defiant originals and to the vanishing point of the modern road, today Harley-Davidson and I begin the next chapter,” he wrote on Instagram.
The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 is available in Vivid Black and River Rock Gray for $17,319 (around P843,500).
