Anniversary celebrations are a big deal in the motorcycling world, and for the 30th year of one of history’s most iconic sport bikes, it only makes sense for Honda to come up with something special.

Feast your eyes on the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade 30th Anniversary Edition: a 200+hp love letter to the original model first released in 1992.

Almost every color has been reinterpreted for the 2022 special-edition bike’s style, including the blue pillion seat. Done up in ’90s-appropriate paint, it blends Honda’s current superbike experience with the model name’s rich racing history.

Underneath the Pearl Glare White fairings and throwback decals is a 999cc four-stroke, DOHC, inline four-cylinder engine that pumps out 214.5hp at 14,500rpm and 113Nm of torque at 12,500rpm.

The potent powerplant gets premium componentry, with Brembo taking care of braking; Ohlins suspension bits holding the bike up; and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa rubber providing grip.

The special-edition Fireblade also comes with an engraved Akrapovic exhaust pipe; an individual serial number on top of the fork; and a smart key fob with 30th Anniversary logos that match those on the bike.

Fans can expect to be set back a cool £23,999, or about P1.6 million to get their hands on this commemorative machine. Fingers crossed that we get a couple units for the Philippine market.
