Kawasaki has unveiled a fresh trio of 650cc offerings in the sport, tourer, and naked categories. These three new bikes feature new color combinations to entice buyers and help solidify the Japanese manufacturer’s position in the competitive midsize market.

Heading the pack is the new Ninja 650. This well-loved, well-rounded sport naked gets three new color schemes: Lime Green/Ebony/Pearl Blizzard White, Metallic Spark Black/Pearl Blizzard White, and Metallic Spark Black.

Among the three, the 2021 Ninja 650 is the only one with an assist and slipper clutch, while the Versys and the Z650 share its new LED headlight, turning signals, taillight, and full-color TFT dash as standard features.

The rider-friendly Z650, meanwhile, is poised to rock the naked standard category with the following color schemes: Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Flat Spark Black, Pearl Blizzard White/Metallic Black, and Metallic Spark Black. The trellis-type tubular chassis of the Z650 is almost similar to that of the supercharged Kawasaki Z H2 sport bike.

Finally, the Versys 650 (main image), Kawasaki’s sought-after midsize adventure tourer that can tackle not only the city but also the countryside, is now offered in Pearl Blizzard White/Metallic Matte Carbon Black, Metallic Moondust Gray/Metallic Flat Spark Black, and Metallic Matte Covert Khaki/Metallic Spark Black.

The reliable and fuel-efficient 649cc DOHC parallel-twin engine powering these three 2021 models remain unchanged from their 2020 counterparts.

Kawasaki will announce the price of the new Ninja 650 in November this year, while pricing for the Versys 650 and Z650 will be known on a later date. Will these midsize offerings from Team Green hit the dealerships here in the Philippines in time for Christmas?
