Are you looking to buy a motorcycle or some parts and accessories, but you’re hesitant to go out shopping due to the prevailing threat of COVID-19? Well, this upcoming event might be the answer to your problem. Motogarahe.com, a website that caters to riding enthusiasts in the Philippines, is staging the country’s first online motorcycle trade fair.
Dubbed the ‘Online Moto Festival,’ the organizers of this event are optimistic that they can draw support from motorcycle manufacturers, dealers, and aftermarket companies. From April 12 to 18, the virtual exhibit areas and booths can be viewed 24/7.
The event is targeting at least 8,000 views a day, according to Motogarahe.com general manager Hermiz Ramoran. Included in the show is a raffle for a brand-new motorcycle, courtesy of the participating bike companies. Ramoran explains that there will be no custom bike competitions, but only static display of motorbikes that are locally available. Motorcycle vloggers and safety riding coaches will also be giving lectures.
If you’re itching to know which among the major motorbike brands, particularly the so-called ‘Big Four’ Japanese manufacturers, will participate in this virtual exhibit, Ramoran is holding his cards close to the chest. He says he will release the complete list by the end of the week. Stay tuned!
